:W6BX is on Berryessa Peak is in Yolo County, grid CM88.
The Ridge Runners Radio Club is currently in the process of building a club station at the former AT&T site on Berryessa Peak, which is 9.5 miles west of Esparto, CA, 42 miles west of Sacramento, and 65 miles NNW of San Francisco. The site is at 3,000 ft AMSL. The tower is 150 ft. K9YC is the trustee, and WA6NMF our club president.
So far, we have a dipole for 160, 80, and 40 meters sloping to the ground from the top of the tower. Eventually we hope to be active on all bands, 160 through at least 450 MHz.
