Radio interests include contesting (co-founder of the IH9P CQWW SSB DX Multi-Multi Team) and low band weak signal work. I’ve completed 5BWAS, 9BDXCC and all 200 zones for 5BWAZ. This has been accomplished with single element antennas only.
Other interests include mountaineering, gardening, aviation and cultural studies.
K7FL’s primary station is an Elecraft K3/100and Alpha 91B. Antennas include a 160M Tee and a modified Hy-Tower. A K9AY RX loop is used on 80/160M.
